Cramping....

Hi Ladies,

I am 5+4 pregnant and for last few days been getting light cramping on and off. It's sometimes in lower belly or sides, feels like period cramp but not as bad. I'm starting to worry a wee bit. Is this normal or not and has anyone had this and been ok? I've had no bleeding.

Sorry to be asking such silly questions just my last pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 5+1 and I had no cramping at all and only some bleeding so am worrying incase this is a bad sign.

I kept telling myself not to worry and just take each day at a time but it's so hard not to worry, i keep thinking I can't have 2 miscarriages cause that's just not fair but then It happens doesn ... !

Has anyone else had the same problem or have the same problem please let me know the outcome and if I need to be worrying..!

I have my early scan on the 9th...

Any advice would be grearly appreciated

Luv

Hi there.

I had alot of craming in the early stages and still get some now. I got it quite babdly some evenings usually just to either side. I used a herbal heatpack (which you heat in the micowave!) I had more severe cramping for bout 4 days before i m/c in may. I used a hot water bottle then and although unlikely you are meant to watch overheating when preg and i wonder if i cooked the baby too much hence why i use the heated bean bag things instead as they are no where near the heat of a hot water bottle and cool down alot quicker! Prob sounds insane but they work fine for me and baby ok!!
Please don't worry, I also had heavy bright red blood one eve and things were still fine.

Take care,

Ems and 14+3 (but official dating scan tomorrow!)
