Had scan and......

the lady doing it says she thinks we are having a little girl although she wasnt that sure, so I feel none the wiser!!!! She was really odd about telling us when we asked to know and kept telling us she would get around to it eventually even when my OH was talking to me!!!!

We brought 2 pictures but she was nice enough to slide few extras in free, but still she was very funny about finding out for us!! I dont know if she just didnt agree with couplkes finding out or not but she wasnt the politest about it. I would rather she had just said she couldnt see!!!! Its not like we would have known what we were looking at!!!!!

Anyways, so I am not convinced.

ah thats not good! she should of just said she couldnt tell! the same happened my sister is australia, told her its 70/30 its a boy! still not enough to make her buy blue though! i dont know why they are reluctant to tell at the end of the day its the parents decision if they want to know the sex. i wanted to find out because my 3yr old wanted a little sister and we wanted to prepare her in case its a boy but my scan was at 14weeks so it was too soon to tell. im happy enough now to wait until the birth to find out if its a he or a she! another reason i wanted to find out is because i found out on my 2nd what she was and i found i bonded with her before she was even born! either way once our babies are healthy and happy its the main thing! do you think you'll go for a private scan or are you happy enough now to wait too???

Oh no that's a bummer!! But at least she/he is healthy!! I'm not sure how they can tell anyway, she was pointing out my babies little bits but i couldn't see it or could tell.

I know what you mean about you'd rather she said she couldn't tell.

Do you think you'll be getting a private scan?

I guess the sonographers just see it as a job and it's not special like it is to us and won't make an effort.

You sound abit bummed off? at least baby is all ok and everything is in the rightful place, didn't you have a feeling that you wouldnt find out ? or am i getting you confused with somebody else?

It was me who wasnt sure baby would co-operate. I am happy baby is happy and healthy and I dont mind witing until baby is born to find out but just wanted to know so I knew if I could have a clear out of Ellie's bit or not!!!

I dont think we will be splashing out on a private scan but who knows.
