Birth story 
Well here goes............
On Wednesday lunch time I starting having these low, strange pains in my back, they were fairly mild so didnt really think much of it. Untill it got to about 3.30 they were slowly getting stronger and coming every twenty minutes or so. I walked around the garden and stuck a hot water bottle on my back.
6 oclock the pains were getting closer and travelling round to my front. I quickly jumped in the bath. I must have been in there for about an hour. By about 8.30 the contractions were about 4 minutes apart and were starting to bloody well hurt!! I rang the delivery suite and they said to wait untill the pains were every three minutes and lasting for 50 seconds. Well they got to 45 seconds and I thought, I better get a move on.
I grabbed my bag and my mum and dad, oh had already gone to work. We drove to the hospital and they stuck me on the monitor and timed the contractions for about an hour an half. Had a VE at 10.15 only to be told that there was NO dialation and my cervix was still at the back  I was gutted as I was in so much pain and I was told to go home and sleep!!! Yeh ok! 
OH took me back home and I started what was to be the longest night of my life!!!!!
I was up all night as the pains were getting worse and worse. I had another bloody bath at 4 am, I managed to wash my hair AND condition it
My OH tried to get me to sleep but it was pretty impossible. I demanded we go back to the hospital at 9 oclock in the morning. Got there and they checked me out and told me my cervix was STILL closed, aaarrrgh! damn cervix. They were going to send us home untill they noticed hoe high my temperature and decided to keep me in for monitoring. At about twelve I had another VE and was told that I was 1 and a half cm dialated, so the midwife broke my waters, weirdly it was quite a nice experience!! things started getting moving then.
At about 4 oclock I was 2 cms and they decided to put me on the drip to induce me further.
By 8 ish I was on the old gas and air! yay! By 9 I couldnt take it anymore and I requested and epidural, I have to say it was bloody AMAZING  I actually enjoyed labour after that. stright away I could talk and laugh and sleep! wahoo. they left me to sleep, before another VE at 12 am.
I was only 3 and a half cms at 12 and baby was slighthy distressed,and I was too tired, so it was a c
section for me. And at 1.09 my little girl was brought into the world 
So after a long, hard slog she was out through the sun roof. We are so amazed that we created something so beautiful. I am sore but happy.
