Hi there!

Glad you feeling more reassured!!! I decided aginst colouring my hair in first 12 weeks than did one at home BUT my hair wouldn't take!!! Went to a salon and guess what?? Hair wouldn't change!!! Luckily I didn't have to pay!!!

Its weird how so many professionals have differing opionions on the flu jab Ny g.p called me to say I would be playing russian roulette by not getting it. My consultant said his wife is preg and having it on monday, in fact he has invited me to go to the same clinic. Both have said that if over 12 weeks all organs are formed. Its NOT a live vaccine. People die from swine flu (preg people more at risk due to decreased immunity) only those with other health complications have died from the vaccine. Also he pointed out, I can have another baby but we can't get another me. If something happens to me if i catch the swine flu me and bubs are at risk.......................... ......... I was so against it but since i teach in a school i am in contact with so many children, staff, parents and work areas I am really at risk, despite NEVER getting coughs colds or flu. I have only had ear infections x2 in 8 yrs!! No sick days for me!!!
Anyway, we all just need to gather as much info and advice as we can and make the right decision for ourselves and respect the opinions of others!!

Take care and good luck with the hair!!!

Ems.. 16 weeks on sat!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hiya hun

Aww glad you're feeling better as such.

I've got a friend whose doing a hairdressing course and she says it's best to wait until after you're 12wks gone as she would have coloured my hair for me but wasn't going to do it till later.

So I would wait hun to be sure.

love and hugs
