I am a mom of three, I just recently took 3 pregnancy tests and all three came out with a faint positive sign. I was expecting them to come out alot darker then they did.. So i am confused on if they really mean i am pregnant or not.. My youngest is 5 yrs old and i haven't done these tests in a while.. Does anyone know how these tests work.. Im still wondering if number 4 is on it's way!!

hi i too took about 5 tests and all were faint, this means we are only just pregnant, i hav just had it confirmed by the doctor too. looks like we are both gonna have our hans full as i have 2 daughters

I recently did a test and had such a faint result that I was very unsure. I then bought one of those digital ones thinking at least it says Pregnant or Not pregnant on it!
When I took the digital test I had had two cups of tea and it was only about an hour since I last peed - it was negative.
The next morning I took another and it was positive. I suggest you do a test after waiting at least four hours since you last went. Also early morning is the best time if you're not sure 'cos your hormone levels are highest then.

ive heard that if you drink too much fluid before a test you can dilute the hormone my advice would be use first morning pee or just wait a few hours to let the hormone build up again but dont drink too much or u will dilute again

try simplicity test- easiest I have ever encountered- just pee in cup and results come out on outside- also so much less messier!

I too like you done a pregnacy test (3 in fact) last xmas, the results were very faint, infact you could hardly see them. So I took them to my doctors and he said you can always get a false negative but never a false positive, just faint because maybe you were so excited you were doing all these pee's at once and the hormone found to detect pregnacy was low but enough to detect it faintly. best result is drink fluids and build it up for a few hours then test failing that they say the best one is the 1st pee in the morning but I'm sure you know this anyway. Anyway my results sure where correct and had another boy 1st september so faint or very faint I'm sure congratulations are in order. Good luck and keep us posted.

I did a fourth test!! And it was positive also!! Looks like Number four is really coming!!! I'm so excited
