I have just discovered I am pregnant. I'm not sure how far gone I am...I have a docs appointment on Monday morn to confirm.

I have had 5 miscarriages in the past so am very nervous about this. I am guessing I am between 4 and 6 weeks gone. This time feels a lot different. I am nauseous, which I have never been before, and I feel my body changing all the time. I have very sore and swollen breasts too.

The problem is I currently live in Tenerife - taking a years working holiday (well it's been 14 months!) I have no wish or financial backing to give birth here, so I will need to return to the UK...esp as the specialist I saw about my miscarriages will see me too and that will make me feel better. However I will need to gain housing, and financial support as I'm unsure how easy it will be to find work being pregnant and all. My partner is not from the UK but will work where he can to gather cash and join me in the UK asap.

What I need is as much advice about housing, finance...and of course early pregnancy as poss? Will I be ok to fly home etc???

Hi

Congrats!

You need some real advice, to be making such a big move, really - try looking up websites such as Citizens Advice, Directgov.com etc. You would probably be best placed to write an email to someone explaining your situation and let them handle it, as anyone's advice on here won't be enough to find you a home in the UK!

I really hope it all works out for you - keep us posted! As for flying, I think generally you're fine as long as you do it before 34-ish weeks (again, best to check this with consultant if you can because of your history. Different airlines have different rules too).

Good luck! x
