Hey there, i am going to have my first scan on 19th june, i will be 14 weeks pregnant by then, I just wondered do you think they would be able to tell me the sex of the baby? I really want to know as soon as they can see.

My Dr. told me at 12 weeks it looked like a boy - even pointed out what appeared to be a teeny tiny penis which even I could see - however, at 16 weeks he said he now thought she was a girl - and now she is a 3 month old very happy healthy girl! So who knows what we thought we saw at 12 weeks!

So all I am saying is - even if you think you can tell, you might still be wrong!

No they won't tell you but at 14 weeks sometimes the baby is quite mature enough for you to notice any little extras - I know I definately saw something at my scan with my last little boy and I was 14+2 . Just depends on whether the baby's shy .lol

I dont think they will be able to tell then! Where do you come from? My hospital wont tell me the sex of my baby, I have to go private and pay for it! I no some hospitals will tell you though!
