I'm sooo excited, but scared and nervous and worried too. i think I am around 8 weeks gone and this will be an internal scan rather than an ultrasound. This is to make sure it is just the one baby and not 5 (!), ensure no ectopic or any other probs, and to confirm how far gone I am. The reason I am so worried is that this is my 6th pregnancy - I have miscarriaged 5 times before and the furthest I have ever carried is 10 weeks. This was a shock pregnancy, I was on the pill and me and my partner have only been together 6 months. He's great and excited about it all too but I worry about the strain it will all put on such a new relationship.
Fingers crossed - roll on 2.15pm tomorrow!!!!
Anyone got any advice about the dizzy/wooziness I keep getting? It is usually fixed by a snack - bananas usually work, but they come on so suddenly making me feel faint, hot and very sick. I have felt nauseous for weeks (that's what made me take a test!) but it has lessened from all day to just late at night. And sooooooo tired all the time! Thats normal right?

Congrats, I really hope it all goes well for you tomorrow - these boards are great for sharing excitement aren't they?
The nausea is normal, and hopefully a sign that this pregnancy will progress successfully for you - did you never have it with any of your other pregnancies? I was fairly bad for a couple of weeks, and the MW consoled me with the fact that it showed a high level of hormones, and therefore a strong baby! I found polo mints great - just keep a packet in your bag and suck one when you start to feel ill. Fruit is good to have, so keep on woth that, and ginger helps too - although I don't think I'll ever be able to eat it again, as it reminds me of nausea! I used to love it.
And most of all, good luck for tomorrow! x

good luck with your scan hope all is well, this is my first i'm in week 19 and i'm still so very tired all the time i have been since about week 7/8. thankfully i've not been sick once however i get a really horid taste at night if i dont go to sleep by 10pm!!! no late nights for me! its good that you eat fruit instead of cakes and chocolate for snacks that will help. try to rest as much as you can when you get tired no point over doing things.
again hope all goes well
