hi, i'm 39+2 days and had a show this morning. I;ve read that this can happen up to a couple of weeks before your due date, but just wondered what the norm is...I'm so desperate to have my baby, and its driving me mad playing the waiting game!

Also, contractions........when they tell you to time them, do you time from the start of one contraction to the start of the next one? Or from when one finishes, until the next one starts?

Any advice welcomed!!!!!

hiya, just to let you no when i had my first baby i was 39+2 days like you, i was bleeding a little so foned the hospital they told me to go in then confirmed i had a show. they kept me in for high blood pressure but my contractions started an hour later and i had my son the next day so the baby mite be there sooner than you think. as for the contractions i remember doing mine from when one finished until the next one started, good luck and i hope your baby is here soon and well, xxx
