| Thread started by: | "Really achy legs - especially when in bed." Posted by kavvy 29 June at 14:37
Hi Guys,
I'm 29 weeks tomorrow and for the last couple of weeks I've had real trouble sleeping because of my legs - which absolutely ache. Its a nitemare trying to switch sides when in bed and horrid when I get cramp because it isn't so easy now to quickly sit up to sort it out! Does anyone have any tips for a good nights sleep? Has anyone bought one of those sleep pillows to put between your legs and found it useful? K.xx

Hi Kavvy
When I was in the last trimester of having my little girl I also had the same problem. It just efl like I kept on wanting to tense mylegs to try and get rid of it. I had one of those 'V' shaped pillows that I would put one side down underneath my stomach, the other side down suporting my back with the 'V' shape up by my head. I would then put a normal pillow inbetween my legs and would sleep like a baby. Oh the perils of being pregnant, arnt men so lucky, they can still become a parent but dont have to go though the discomforts.
Hope this helps, good luck!!

Hiya
Don't laugh, but I sleep in the recovery position - one arm up, one leg up, tilted slightly to give my bump room!! But then I'm not awfully big yet, so I'm sure it won't be possible for much longer - especially now my appetite is returning with a vengeance!! I won't even go into what I had for lunch, but let's say the cravings are definately kicking in!!
I bought a normal V support pillow, which I find fab, but can't see it helping your legs much - does wonders for raising you when your back hurts though!
