Although i have not been windy down the bottom end but have been burping constantly!!
I have always prided myself on not being a burper or farter in public but i cannot keep the burps in - i am like a bloke. Just drink water sets me off!! Its very embarrassing but at the same time also very relieving.
So you are not alone!!!

Sounds familiar, I did'nt ever used to have wind before honestly never But yes i do get soo much, sometimes I think it smells like baby poo. My partner thinks it does too. I even have more wind than him!!!! I am a vegetarian and like to eat fruit, its good though to be able to let it out.Seen as we are talking about this ,have you had constipation yet during your pregnancy? I had it bad once in the beginning though now make sure I eat porridge. It works a dream! How pregnant are you. Take Abi xx

"Still early stages" Posted by deena15 3 July at 17:33
Hi Abi,
I only had a little constipation about 2 weeks ago but now I am fine. I've never been a 'everyday girl' anyway. Maybe that's why I'm so windy! I can't let it out during the day whilst at work (god forbid) so I must save it up for my partner in the evenings and mornings lol. I'm only 8 weeks but must say I've been having it easy, no morning sickness etc., only tenderness and bigger boobs, been getting some headaches though but they don't bother me too much. How is your pregnancy progressing? xx

"I'm getting worse!" Posted by deena15 6 July at 18:05
I swear I really am getting worse, am absolutely terrible in the evening. I stank the bedroom out last night, don't know if my other half wanted to laugh or be sick! But I seem to be more or less ok during the day, just as well, can't be doing that whilst I'm sitting at my desk.
No sickness for me either, symptoms the same as yours so can't complain. Good luck with the scan, I'm 3 weeks behind you so can't wait for mine.

"Hey all!" Posted by careyrunner 6 July at 18:19
Hey sounds like we are all similar in terms of how far along we are. I am 11 weeks today and in relation to the gas thing... Most definetely very very bad. I have noticed this since like the 5th or 6th week. Does not seem to matter much what i eat, very very tooty.
I have had very sore boobs especially at night for some reason, every time i turn in bed its agony. I have had some nausea (no vomiting just generally feeling sea sick like) particulary mid morning after i eat breakfast but that has seemed to subside that last few weeks so thats goood.
Good luck to all and i guess that gas is a small price to pay. i read reason is cause digestion slows down with all hormone changes.
Take care all.
Tooty

"Blame it on baby" Posted by loopyb 7 July at 22:23
I can sympathise with this one, am also quite windy, and find it really hard to control. But I now tell my husband that its because the baby is kicking on my bowels.
