I am usually on pill but my 15 month old girl was messing around by my bedside cabinet (where i usually keep it to remind me to take) and must have knocked it off behind bed and i didnt realise until about week later. I thought i will just wait til my next period and start new pack. I had period 10th May 2007 for about 5 days and swore I would not have intercourse as im not protected. Me and my partner had sex on 18th May 2007 (one thing led to other - oops) and im now late by about 3 weeks, my last period being 51 days ago. Im experiencing a few headaches minor cramping, lots of discharge bit queezy. I done couple tests 2 weeks ago and neg. Could I still be pregnant? I havent really been worrying as the tests said neg but been bit curious over last couple days.

p.s i dont usually let my little girl go near my private things but she was a bit quicker than me on this occassion!! oops

Hi there,

It's possible, cos you've been on the pill your cycle could be all over the place and I've read that some women have a longer cycle than others, so you should try the test again. My first 2 tests were negative but I tested every 3 days and low and behold I'm pregnant, test showed pos on 33rd day after my last period.

My friend just got pregnant while takening the pill so anythings possible.

It's also a good idea to go to the GP, just to make sure everythings ok.

I appear to have got my period today well just faint when i wipe but no pmt hmmm!! I did have a doc appt booked for tomorrow aswell (how come that always happens). Anyway I am pleased as I am not planning 2nd child just yet so thanks so much for your help.
