Hey guys im new here im Claire, im 24 and 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I am very happy as it was planned but happened alot quicker than we expected i thought i would have problems concieving!
Im also nervous and just wanting to get through my first 12 weeks safely!
I am experiencing slight stomach ache on and off like a period pain, is this normal? Apart from that, sore nipples and feeling tired im not too bad! Hope everyone is well xx

"Don't worry"

I am 20 and pregnant - just approaching our first wedding anniversary and although it was planned for us too because i had so many problems with my ovaries when i was growing up i thought it would take a while. But it was first time lucky and i am now just over 7 weeks.

I too suffered period like cramps for about 2 weeks and then they just stopped. If they are your only few symtoms then i would count yourself very lucky - my pregnancy has been awful so far and i am hating it.

Best of luck in your weeks to come! I hope everything goes well for you!!!!

Hi Claire,
I'm just 7 weeks pregnant for first time too. I've been having very slight period pains for a couple of weeks but I've read on internet that this isn't uncommon. The uterus has a lot of adjusting to do.
Hope you are not feeling too sick? I've started to feel a bit more queasy as the weeks have gone on and lost my appetite. Nothing too bad though and haven't actually been sick. I only seem to want to eat cucumber!
Good luck.

Congratulations becoming a mum to be! you must be so thrilled! Im gonna come off the pill early next year and start trying when I will be 24 and like you Im very worried that it wont happen for me. My friend who is now 33 weeks gone had bad stomach aches at the beginning so guess its normal! Hope your pregnancy goes well for you...any tips on how to concieve quickly?!

Hey thanx!
I was shocked i was still adamant the day i done the tests that i wasnt pregnant! After 3 tests i started 2 think hmm looks like i am then it was confirmed!
Just lots of sex lol thats all i can recommend and try not to stress about it! The reason i came off my pill now was so im young enough not to have to worry and stress over it! They say doggy style is good and lay on ur back for a bit after ur man ejaculates before you get up! Still in shock i am! Goodluck for when you start!x
"Just cant help but worry though!"

Im trying to do lots of reading and research into getting pregnant and preparing yourself for pregnancy and there seems to be so many people who come off the pill but then dont get a period for months. I strongly believe if its meant to be then it will happen. When is your due date do you know yet? It will probably work out that when you are having your baby I will just be starting to try for one! Have you told anyone yet? Iv been thinking that if it happens for me sometime in the future I wont even tell my mum until the 12th week has passed but Im sure I wouldnt be able to keep it a secret for that long!

The more you stress over it i think the more you will have problems, my mate was trying and she was getting worked up she has now gone back on the pill cus shes due to get married next year!
I have told my close family trust me u wont b able to keep it a secret you wana tell the world!
Some people catch if they miss one pill some tale a while its just a matter of relaxing and see what happens i never thought for one minute it would be within 3months! My due date is 23rd Feb!
