Hi Everyone,

Its my first time on sofeminine, so glad I have found the site, I am 26 weeks, I have had high blood pressure since 16 weeks, I am on two different sorts of meditication, I had a midwife appointment last week and she says that my uterus is measuring 20 weeks rather than 25 weeks, I have a growth scan booked next week anyway as I have a consultant appointment, but nothing else has been explained to me and what this means regarding the baby, ever since last thursday I have been worried sick, anyone have any advice??

Thank u xx

hiya im 36 weeks pregnant and i too suffer with high blood pressure and im on medication.
the growth scan is to check how ur baby is growing as ur blood pressure can effect the flow through the placenta to the baby and with u measruing a bit smaller for ur dates they just want to check and see how well ur baby is growing.
try not to worry, ive been measuring a few centimeteres bigger than my weeks and i had a scana dn everything was fine. good luck and i hope it goes well.

Not very good newsWhat are my chances of now being pregnant?Need some advice please.12 weeks pregnantBabys movementsGestational age?Hayfever hellTwins-how soon can you tell?Work issueGot my first scan date!!Coming off bcp
