Hi,
I'm 12 weeks and 4 days. I've been nauseous and throwing up daily for 7 weeks. I can't remember when I last fancied eating anything at all apart from cheese and am not at all happy with my intake. I would hope to have been eating really healthily by now, as I too have always eaten well in the past and really want to give my baby the best chance at being healthy.
So, if you have a huge appetite, please appreciate it; eat what you like and enjoy it. I hope to soon be following in your footsteps.
Best wishes,
Susan

"13 weeks pregnant with a raging appetite!"

Hi everyone!

I'm a newbie, joined today. Love what I've seen so far!

I'm 13 weeks and have been feeling quite sick since about week 6. Not actually throwing up but have an awful sicky feeling all the time. Problem is the only thing that seems to make it better is eating!! Worse still I always seem to want to eat pastry like sausage rolls or pies! I've always been fit and healthy so am hating this side of being pregnant.

Any ideas????

x

Hi!
am a newbie also and your story is exactly the same as mine. Am 13 weeks and have been suffering from contstant morning sickness since week 6. Like you the only thing that seems to cure it is constantly eating and yes you got it - all the wrong things. I normally have such a healthy diet but all I can stomach is cheese sandwiches, cornish pasties smothered in HP sauce etc... Also I usually practise Yoga for two hours every day but am not allowed in the first trimester. Help? wish I could offer some ideas but I hate this side of pregnancy too! In adition I am also suffering with heavy nose bleeds. Tell me it gets better!

"Exactly the same"

hey!
I was exactly the same, before i was pregnant ate healthily and was a really nice shape and size and now bumff! It doesn't go away, i am 30+5 now and i have put on a fair bit of weight but just hope because i was fit before after i have had the baby i will soon burn it off.

I wasn;t sick either but extremly nausious i had to eat sweets to curb mine.

Alls i will say is make sure you drink plenty of fluids as water will fill you up and if you have to eat to feel better make sure you eat. If you are worried about your weight try whilst you still can and not an elephant like me to do light walking and swimming because it will stand you in good stead for later on. And always follow a healthy diet but hey the odd naughtyness is great and because you are pregnant can get away with it. Like everyone said to me enjoy the fact you 'can' eat what you want...!!!

Hey there,

I am 13 weeks as well. I've been alright with morning sickness had a few off mornings where i have felt like i m going to be sick but haven't. For the sickness i found eating ginger biscuits/ dried toast helps ( a bit more healthier than sausage rolls.lol) I know what you mean before i fell pregnant i ate very healthily and now i all i want is jam doughnuts and sweet things!lol I am also hungry all the time now i ll eat a big meal for tea i.e. chicken and vegetables etc.. and be hungry an hour later!lol

All i can say really is try to eat healthily as hard as it may be! Coming from experience, when you have a craving for something it will certainly not go away!lol

Take care

hi guys!

Thanks both for your replies....I have been trying to eat healthily....last night I had curry and I'm eating toast and marmalade as I write this - does that count?? lol! Ginger biscuits work for me too it's amazing how many people say that! I've bought grapes though so shall try that today, I'll let you know if it works!

Take care
