"Can anyone help with the pram/pushchair choice "

Hi,
can anyone give me any feedback on twin pushchairs please? Twins due in December, no othter children so no need to worry about buggyboard things. don't personally like the tandems, would prefer side by sides. so far have only looked on the internet and the favs are the out & about 360 nipper, or the firstwheels twin, which I like the look of cos can have babies facing me, and carrycots which will keep them more snug that time of year, but its quite heavy. any advice gratefully accepted, need to buy a new car anyway so no real restrictions re folding into car boot as will probably get estate.

Thanks

Well i have already done a fair amount of research which is fairly sad considering that i am only 8 weeks but i have been so excited and so very sick that i am confined to the bed/sofa a lot of the time so have been making a headstart.

I have been preparing myself incase of twins as they run in the family and my favorite choice is the Firstwheels twin and just incase you do decide to go for this option then....

As for the comment below about a suitable stroller for just the one i too am looking for something that combines everything - carrycot, carseat and stroller. Even though you do not drive the car seat may come in useful for your parents or friends. This is meant to be fairly lightweight too. The Jané Slalom Pro Formula Travel System comes in a variety of colours and is my favorite. you can find this on mothercare.com but not in the stores and you can also find them on ebay for cheaper prices.

Best of luck to you both.

I'm 23 weeks pregnant, first child (and just the one!)
I am also struggling to find the right pram/pushchair, because I heard that its a lot better to have the child facing you for as long as possible. helps the child develop good communication skills apparently. most prams do this, but I want it to convert to a pushchair and still be able to face me.
there are a few out there, but I am also looking for a lightweight and small folding one because I don't drive so will be taking it on buses and trains.

does anyone have any advice?
