"Can relate!!"
Posted by careyrunner 5 July  at  14:59

I know exactly how you feel. I too am 10 weeks (11 weeks tommorow) pregnant. I had two miscarriages since december and so can certainly relate to the fear.

I still flinch everytime i get cramping or feel something remotely similar to before or least bit odd, fully expecting it to turn out the same as the last two times.

However, i had my first appt. last week and got to hear the heartbeat, followed by a scan this has set my mind at ease somewhat. I think it is only natural because you fear the worst and know what that feels like.

From other posts on here it seems as though that checking the tissue every time you go to bathroom doesnt go away.

Try to enjoy and just remember that there is really nothing you can do, nature has a mind of its own. Just stay positive and hope for best.

Take Care

Well, am 8/9 weeks and really worried all the time!

Have had some very light spotting yesterday, spoke to the midwife (not seen one yet) and she said all was ok as i didn't have any pain.

Got 'booking-in' appointment next Tuesday (10th July) so guess scan will be maybe 2 weeks after that - if all goes well until then.

Really scary time isn ...

I'm 10 weeks and 1 day and am also scared of miscarriage. This is my first pregnancy after over 2 years of trying! I have had light bleeding/spotting on and off since 8 weeks and 3 days and have been told to take it easy. It's perfectly normal to be worried at this stage and even more so for you poor ladies who have suffered previous miscarriages. Just take things easy, get plenty of rest, eat healthily and keep your fluid intake up and i'm sure we will all have big smiles on our faces in 6-7 months time!!!!
take care and congratulations!
"9 weeks and scared too"

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and equally scared. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks a few months ago and am constantly paranoid. I've got my first midwife appointment on the 17th which is too far away! I want a scan to show that everything's ok before I tell people the good news.
"Bleeding in pregnancy"
Posted by trinder1 10 July  at  11:24

I had a miscarriage last year and am now 20 weeks pregnant. i had some bleeding this time round and panicked but scan showed baby was fine. Its common to bleed in early pregnancy I am a nurse in an early pregnancy unit so stressed everyday at work. i am sure you will be okay but seek advice if bleeding becomes heavy or you get pain.Need to hang in there until your first scan although its still hard to relax if you have had a miscarriage. Bleeding can be caused by the baby imbedding in uterus, can also bleed around time of period or have cervical erosion. All completeley harmless. Good luck.
