hi everyone

i'm 30 weeks pregnant but my baby doesn't seem very active, i feel the odd movements throughout the day but its not happening very much and only feels like little flutters rather than big kicks. is anyone else around the same time as me and how often are you feeling your baby move?

would be gratefull to hear other peoples views as i'm quite worried.

"Dont worry"

Don't worry, i am 31 weeks and having the same experience its acually nice to have seen that others around my time have also.

I agree that its because the baby is getting bigger and is far less restricted than it was, before i could see a mexican wave over my stomach but now i am finding it is quite restricted to one area. I do get some strong kicks sometimes usually when i am relaxing in the bath or when i play a song by the feeling - how strange!

My midwife said at my last appointment that i should feel at least 10 forms of movement everyday so just keep a mental note and if you are ever worried ring your maternity department they would be more than willing to help and support.

Good luck, seems we are all due at same time

I am 29 weeks and the baby is not moving as much as it used too. I too think its down to the amount of space left in there!

I saw the midwife a few days ago and she said its normal for it to quieten down a bit in this stage.

My stomach has got quite big and solid in the last few weeks, so its all still going on!

Hope it all goes well,
Best Wishes,
Natalie xxx
"I'm 30 weeks too!"

Hi.

I'm 30 weeks too and have noticed the same thing.

Had 2 days in a row where i hardly felt any movement and was considering ringing the midwife but used my doppler and heartbeat was fine.

Do you think it could be because baby is getting bigger so there's less room for it to move around in and it cant stretch it's arms or legs and give such a good punch or kick as it did before?

Seeing my midwife on the 13th to see if my little one is still in the breech postion so i'll ask her while i'm there x
