Hey!
Well i was a little disturbed reading your posting, but i am so glad that your baby boy arrived safe and well. I wonder why they never did a c section before the monday - seems an awful long time for them to decide!
I can't wait till he/she arrives for me...i am on countdown 9 weeks to go!!

heyy guys .. i am 39+4 weeks and i know that the big day can be anyday. I am sick of being pregnant and i want to get this baby out but i have just watched childbirth videos online and i am soooo nervous. Just watching the head come out was making me shake! I know labor is a natural thing and if other women can do it so can i .. i have talked to my mom and she reassures me and tells me i can do it and tells me about her birth experience (she has alot since she did have 5 children!) but still i am really scared. Any reassurance or shared experience will be so appreciated. Thankyou guys .. love danielle

Hi, I am a midwife and also pregnant myself !! I would like to tell you that what you are feeling is entirely normal, any mum to be think about labour from early stages and fear can develop as the due date arrives. But as you said labour is natural and your fear will disappear when you go into labour as your focus will be on dealing with pain. Try not to plan too much as labour rarely go the way you want and you might want to try something you haven't thought you would like to. Anyway I hope that you will have an enjoyable experience that will empower you as a new mum, and enjoy the first cuddle with your baby as it is so special. All the best, let us know xxxxx

hi, i had my baby on monday night, and i'm not gonna lie, it was a terrible experience, i feel bad telling u that, but u'll be very unlucky to go through what i did. i went into labour 3am last friday. by saturday evening i was getting contractions every 3 mins and was in such pain, but i was only 2cm dilated. I had everything, they broke my waters, put me on a drip on the highest dosage which was suppose to move things along, i had 2 epidurals as the first one didnt work. Had 3 membrane sweeps, by monday night i was just 5cm. So they decided to do c section. But I tell you what, its true what people say, all that pain i went through, was 100% worth it. I would do it all again, i have the most perfect little boy. I cant really remember the pain, the love for my baby over rides it, and i would do it all again! You'll be fine, just think past the pain, and what the outcome is. Good luck x
