I've been to all the above whilst between 5-8 weeks pregnant. I've not wanted to tell anyone either. I'm a big drinker and panicked as it was going to be so obvious that I wasn't drinking.
The best thing I've found is that nearly all places (really surprisingly as I never would have thought it) sell non-alcoholic beer. Problem sorted. One of the weddings was in Ireland so am sure you'll find it where you are going.
Good luck being sneaky!

Why dont you just tell them you're on antibiotics or have had a water infection, that way you can drink plenty of soft drinks with no one suspecting.

I'm rubbish at keeping thisngs from my family so it just came out straight away. I hope you do better than me. Good luck.

Perhaps sail a little closer to the wind, if they know you're TTC already? You could tell them that you're detoxing to get ready for pregnancy - don't have to say you've already achieved it! lol. If they know you're planning to make it happen, then they will believe you.

Otherwise, I'd go for either antibiotics, or tell them you had a headache travelling there and have dosed up on painkillers and don't want to mix it.

Good luck - and congrats! x
