"Hiya." Posted by kelseyandbaby1 15 July at 17:44
You spoke about sex in the first trimester, i went off it really badly because i thought it'd harm my baby, but it's really unlikely that'd ever happen! I have given up soft cheese which i miss so much! I gave up smoking and drinking and i miss that so much too, i really have been craving a ciggy! I also gave up coffee! Good luck with your pregnancy x

"Given up!" Posted by staceymy 11 July at 17:30
Hi. Before i got pregnant i worked as a groom, i have now left. I dont ride my 2 horses now cos am scared it will hurt the baby and i have heard that when your bump gets bigger you lose your balance. Would love to get back on em tho!! The last time i rode, the horse reared and fell on top of me, the day after i found out i was pregnant! Do you think it would be ok for me to get back on?? When do you think you will eventually stop riding?? Am 14+5wks. Stacey x

"Alcohol!!!" Posted by summerlee1 10 July at 14:20
The only thing i have really given up is smoking and alcohol!!
Havent had a drink since christmas, was my birthday yesterday and found it soooo hard!
Some people say one or two wont hurt, but i know if i have one or two i'll want another one or two even more!
Could murder a glass of wine, half a cider, vodka and coke or a nice cold pimms and lemonade............in fact any alcohol would be nice!!!!!!
Plan to breast feed aswell, so will still have to be carefull even when babes born!!! x

"How long to breast feed?" Posted by lauraellen 15 July at 21:33
Thats a good point I cant wait to have a drink and party for one night after baby born.I am thinking about breast feeding as they say breast is best! what is the minimum length of time you can breast feed before switching to formula? And while breast feeding can you not drink? x

"Some food but not much else!" Posted by lucysim 10 July at 14:10
Hi I'm 16 weeks and still riding, altho horse 29yrs so more of a potter than anything too active. Still go circuit training, but do low impact stuff. Live on a farm and still helping out milking cows, tho everyone stops me lifting heavy buckets/feed etc, tho I did all that in the first couple of months when only hubbie knew. He was worried but I figured I'd done it before i knew i was pregnant and if you're careful. Think if your bodies used to it and you;re sensible and listen to your body then its ok. I too need a sleep every day, & if I miss a day and am extra knackered next day. I figure if I can still push a shopping trolley round tescos then I can do the stuff i like too!

I haven't got a horse only a partner but haven't giving up riding or jumping him yet lol
Before you say it, I know i'm terrible...!!
He doesn't allow me to fill up and carry the watering can anymore but most things I'm still doing as I'm only 9-10 weeks.

did like that! I think my husband is a bit afraid to tell me not to do things incase I acuse him of being sexist! I am doing less around the garden as by the time i have been riding all morning I am Knackered! Yesterday I woke at 11am, went riding came back at lunch gardened for a bit - then went to bed and slept for 2.5 hrs - I was really exciting company!
