heya, well i am 16 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby and i am totally freaked out, this one was totally unexpected and i have been so emotional, and even though i have got 3 kids already im so freaked that i will forget what im supposed to do, and when i try to talk to anyone about it they just say "oh you will be fine" and that drives me crazy cos it doesnt feel like it will be that easy, luckily my husband is great and he has been so supportive and understanding and he is just as freaked out as i am. the best advice i can give you is...Talk to your family/friends/midwife/partner, tell them how you are feeling even if their advice doesnt seem to help sometimes just talking about it can make it seem better and dont expect too much of yourself just take each day as it comes and cherish the life you have growing inside you
i hope it all goes well for you good luck with everything

I am about 30 weeks now and have been feeling panicy liek mad for a while now.
Like you said at the beginning it doesnt really sink in, then as time goes along and you find out more information and your body and life changes in so many ways you do panic!
It can all get really over-whelming, but the best thing is to talk about it, keeping active and in constant contact with family and friends.
I know it seems scarey now but if you can join some mother-to-be groups it will help you. NCT have regular meetings in most areas also Sure Start has meetings and coffee mornings too. You can get the information off the internet for your area or your midwife may have information about your local groups.
Just remember your not alone, come on to this site and there is some really good advice on here, people to talk and a chance to let off steam.
