"Nothing really!"

Hi there. I had my first midwife app at 7weeks. She came to my home and asked lots of questions about family etc. She was there about 1 hour. I got my scan date the week after and when i had my scan at 11+6 weeks i saw her again 4 blood and urine tests and collected my notes. She decides what sort of care you need. Hope this helps and good luck with your pregnancy. Stacey x
"Nothing to worry about"

i went for mine yesterday, it took about 40mins or so. she asked family & personal history, took some blood and a wee sample, gave me my notes - and that was about it!

She was very nice and it was good to meet her. she also gave me some info and exemption certificate for prescriptions and so on but it was nothing invasive or scary.

She also is going to send off for my 12 week scan date so hoping that will come thru soon, then it might start to feel real!!
