I had dental work done in my pregnancy and it was fine, just make sure you mention it to your dentist first (although they should ask). You should have had a maternity exemption form to complete from your midwife, but even if you'd filled it in and sent it off you'd probably still be waiting for the card, lol! Just tell your dentist that you're maternity exempt and they should be fine about it, just asking that you produce your card on your next visit. Hope this helps. Best of luck!

"Dental treatment...."

Hiya,
Ive had loads of dental treatment - the only thing that you cant have is general anaesthetic or sedation. I had to wait to start trying until i had had a major dental bone graft, but now thats done Im fine to have the rest of my treatment for dental implants. There is no risk, except if you have an infection or pain afterwards all you can take is paracetamol.

Hope that helps?
