I don't really know the causes but I can surely tell you that it can be normal to carry a little more or little less fluid than normal, I had less and everything went ok, if the docs aren't worried it means things are under control and so u don't have to worry. We measure it by centimetres, so 11 would be still ok, but I don't know how you measure it. Please let me know if you want... anyway I think it won't cause any problem at all! kisses

Hi,
Im 22 and 36+wks pregnant, i have been told im carrying alot of fluid and at my last scan (35wks) i was measuring 11. What does this mean?
What causes extra fluid? The docs dont appear to be too worried but no one really wants to explain what it all means.

Confused!!??

Thanks x x
