"Everyone different"

Hi Louise
Firstly don't worry we are all different and I should imagine a very few of us have a 'textbook ' pregnancy . I am 27 weeks in my 6th pregnancy and with everyone of my boys I have lost between 1 -2 stone in the first 6 months so much so that I am the same weight when I am full term as I am when I concieved. Also as its your first baby it can be harder to distinguish your baby's first kicks .You will only feel it when you are resting at first and maybe not until your 20 weeks or so but I remember in my first pregnancy someone told me to eat a mars bar and lay on my left side and true enough the sugar drove him nutty and within half hour I could feel little bubbles / tickles down low . Try it it might work for you
Good luck

"Dont worry"
Posted by lynni298 13 July  at  14:51

hi, im 20 weeks now and still havn't put any weight on, like you i have a bump (not very big yet) but the baby is measuring average size...strange. i havn't yet felt kicks, just odd flutters like a trapped nerve and usually only when i lay down. try not to worry as we're all different and im sure if you're getting a bump then baby must be growing. hope that reassured you a little xxx
