hey ladies .. on friday night at 8:26 pm I started to have sluggish contractions every 10 minutes apart. By 11:00 my mom,bf and me were headed to the hospital even though the contractions were still sluggish and still only 10 minutes apart! I thought I would be sent home but I was already 4 cm! Labor wasent so bad until around 2:30 am they put stuff in my IV and I had stronger and consistent contractions. I wound up getting an epidural which wore off 3 times and I needed more medication ! The doctor said that the baby was big and I might need a c-section but THANKYOU god I pushed my chunkymonley out!lol .. All together I went through 14 hours of labor .. 7 hours of hard labor. I wont lie it is sooo painful but whats a few hours of hardcore to seeing the life you have raised 9 monthes inside you. I am so in love with this little girl and I still look at her and cannot believe she is mine. She is ALL my boyfriend but I think she has my head,curly hair,full lips,tongue and legs. Her eyes are already a light blue but I know they will change colors but fingers crossed she has her daddys baby blues!! She is a very calm baby and only cries when she has gas .. she didnt even cry when I pushed her out !She is perfectly healthy and everything is going great! thankyou ladies so much for your responses and best wishes. both christa and me are doing just fine and i am enjoying each and every moment of it. she smiles and she is very alert and keeps me up all night lol .. she has her days and nights confused but everything is else is great .. keep you posted

You did well to push her out! Jeez i thought my little bundle of joy was big enough to push out hehe!

How are you coping with her, i know i felt like the first few days all blurred into one, cant belive all that happened nearly a month ago! if you need a chat or anythin just give me a shout!

Have been wondering how you were getting on since yuor last post! I knew somethig must have happened and am so glad you and the baby are ok.

Christa Jade is a beautiful name!

Keep us all informed of how your getting on! Use new mums need all the advice and help we can get!

Mine is due around 18th September so about 10-9 weeks to go! I just have a feeling its going to come early though and I wont be prepared!

Ahh, congrats, sounds like you both did well!

When were you due? I remember seeing your posting about the due date arriving - you were a couple of days over, weren't you?

Well done for managing without the C section, it's more painful at the time to push her out but I bet you're glad now that you don't have to recover.

God I'm so nervous. Ten weeks to go. Make sure you stick around to give us new mummies some advice when our time comes! lol x

I have been looking out for you over this weekend and did wonder whether the time had come..sounds like you had a long but good birth i am so pleased for you. I am so so so scared to be honest i am scared i wont know i am having a contraction lol. How come you didn't have to have a c-section in the end? Did you just work damn hard! lol

How are you feeling in yourself? Knakered i bet?

Sounds like you have a nice quiet baby - will it last lol?
