I'm a first time mum and I'm 13 wks today. I was just wondering is there a charge to finding out the sex of my baby.

Congratulations.

Different hospitals have different policies and some dont like to tell you incase they make a mistake but there's not a charge.

I was lucky enough to find out at my 20 week scan and then i had a 4d scan at 28 weeks and asked again...just to confirm...as i'm expecting a baby girl and when i had my son 12 years ago i was told it was very unlikely i'd be able to carry a girl....so i'm weel chuffed!

They wont volunteer the info though and you will probably have to ask them to tell you.
