Hi
I had my last period on the 17th of June. I found out I was pregnant two days ago. so I guess i would be considered 4 weeks pregnant. Im really happy. I have the normal symtoms but there is one that im worried about. From today Ive had a period like pain in my lower abdomen. I repeated a pregnancy test and it is still positive. Its worrying me. I have no bleeding or anything. Just wondering if this sort of pain is normal.

Also sometimes my breasts are more tender and painful than at other times is thisnormal too.

Please reassure me.

Thanks )

hey there,

First of all congratulations! Honey, i was the exactly the same as you. I had period like pains and was convinced i would come on any day. Don't worry Its perfectly normal to feel period like pains. I spoke to my midwife who reassured me it was completely normal and it is just the body adjusting to the pregnancy. If you' ve had no bleeding i really wouldn't worry too much (easier said than done i know!lol)its perfectly normal.

I am 15 weeks pregnant now and i still feel the occasional period like pain so try not to worry!

and the breast tenderness and pain is normal as well and trust me this does not go away some mornings i wake up in agony!lol the life of a woman eh!lol

best wishes
Haylez xx

I'm 13 weeks pregnant and earlier on in the preganancy I had period pains, which is just the fertilised egg attaching to your womb and your body adjusting for the baby, as is the back ache, I got exactly the same its perfectly normal.
