"Salon spray tans?! ....."

Hi girls

Going to Portugal in a couple of weeks time (by then I'll be 21 weeks)just wondered if anybody knew if salon spray tans were safe or not? Thinking if I look a little brown when I get there it may take my mind of my ever expanding bum and bump in a tankini!!! Have asked at the Salon who said it was ok (although I must say she didn't look that convincing!!) have also asked around and people seem to be giving me conflicting advice (isn't that always the case when you're pregnant?!!)Would be grateful if you could let me know what you think?

Hope you're all well.

I work as a beauty therapist and I had a spray tan done a few weeks ago for my hols when I was 20 weeks. They are fine to have. The only problem that may occur is sometimes your skin can be a bit more sensitive so a patch test is advisable to be on the safe side.x

Thanks for letting me know - feel much better now. Will pop in for a patch test ..... never thought of it but makes sense now you've said. Patchy wouldn't have been a good look!!!

Thanks again.

Thanks for that ...... you have helped, feel better now! Sometimes you just need a bit of re-assurance!

Sorry for the late reply - just come back from a week in Norfolk, needless to say I wasn't able to build up a bit of a base tan for Portugal!!

Thanks again
