Hiya
I am eight weeks pregnant with my second child and I am exactly the same as you. I did get a few stabbing pains in my side a couple of weeks ago and now the lower of my back is in total agony so therefore I looked at the internet for several hours and now terrified as this can be one symptom of a M.
I have had no sickness for a while and I don't even go to the toilet frequently anymore, do you?

Hello ladies, I am very happily pregnant with my third child. However,I am now overwhelmed with worry, more so than I was with previous pregnancies. On Friday,my sickness disappeared for about 20hours,so of course, after trawling the internet, I was convinced my 8 (yes,8) pregnancy tests were wrong, or the worst was about to happen. Thankfully, the sickness returned, accompanied with sore boobs. I have never been so happy to feel so rubbish. THEN, last night I had a very brief stabbing pain, right side, just above pubes.(pregnancy allows you to reveal all gory details, regardless of how personal!) So, I now have a bit of a dull ache in that area, which of course I have self diagnosed as an ectopic pregnancy. So there we are. I hope to God I am just being my usual neurotic self. Some might say I should concentrate on the fact that I am blessed with two healthy naughty boys. I know that, but my love for this little apple pip in my belly is just as strong. Anyone else going a bit bananas?

Im eight weeks pregnant with my second child. I had my first nine and a half years ago. I had some spotting two weeks ago. I have been for two scans one showed the egg and sack and i was told it was to early for heart beat but everything looked fine. I went back two weeks later and there was the heartbeat flashing in front of me and again i was told everything was fine. I am still a nervous freak i have convinced myself i am going to have a miscarriage i look for signs constantly all day and all night!!! every ache and every pain i think thats it im going to miscarry, today it was a backache (even though I went to a wedding last night and stood up in high heels all night!!!) My partner could not care less in fact i had to leave him at the wedding to carry on drinking and taking drugs which he has continued to do all day and is still going!!! i have been so angry today and worked myself up so much by shouting and hollowing and chucking all of his clothes out (as im so anti drugs and cannot belive anyone would ever treat me like this)and low and behold i cannot sleep as i have convinced myself that ive stressed myself out so much that a miscarriage is imminent. Am I going mad how can i relax and just enjoy my pregnancy even though it looks as though i shall be going it alone!!!!!!!!!!!!! help

Hi girls, just to keep you informed, my nausea has well and truly returned, so paranoia has subsided a bit. just to reassure the lady who is worried about movements, I didn't feel any until about twenty weeks, with my first, then the little ... didn't stop! Men are rubbish when it comes to pregnancy paranoias, so I reccomend you stick to telling your lassmates, because they understand. I spent my last two preganacies having negaitive dreams aswell. Then when I got near my due date, I would dream that I had had a virtually pain free birth, then wake up in the morning and wonder where the hell my new baby was!, Then hubby would have to remind me that I hadn't had it yet. So, I believe I am the biggest pregnancy paranoia looney and I am so glad I am not alone!x

im 10 weeks pregnant with my 4th and i am soooo paranoid, i always knew i was going to have 3 kids so when i found out i was pregnant with this little jellybean i went into total panic mode, the fact that i was blessed with 3 healthy and easy pregnancies and labours has me worried even more i keep thinking i cant be this lucky can i, i had a scan recently and ive never been so happy, even though my midwife had me at 16 weeks and the scan said 9, it was still reassuring to see the little one floating round happily, dont think ill be able to breathe easy till im holding him/her/them in my arms though

You sound exactly like me! I am 6 weeks today, and since I found out (just under 2 weeks ago) every time I go to the loo I check myself for any signs of a m/c. I feel sick every morning and then the other morning i didn't so spent hours trawling the internet to find out if it was normal or if something was wrong. If I get the slightist twinge in my belly/arm/leg/back/head I am sure something bad is happening. I had bad lower right abdomen pain (that was how I found out I was pregnant at A&E) and had a suspected ectopic but had a scan on Friday and all is fine. The pain went (in ectopic the pain gets worse) so that could be why I akm so neurotic - but I won't let myself get excited and forbid myself from looking on any baby websites (apart from chat foprums) until I am 3 months gone!

Oh god, im so relieved. Thank you for putting my mind at rest. Ive recently found out that I am pregnant with my first baby. My partner asked me to marry him three weeks ago so when I found out that I was pregnant last week we were both so shocked having been thinking about weddings it was the last thing we expected. Having gotten over the initial shock now though I am so pleased and completely paranoid that its all going to end. For the past two days I have been feeling fine and as probably the rest of you have done, I searched the dreaded internet. After reading lots of worrying information about miscarriages where the mother just doesn't feel pregnant anymore I started to worry and have been visiting the loo constantly convinced that it would all be over. You guys have put my mind at rest (for a little bit anyway).
Sally.

Hi all mums and bumps
I am 17 weeks and have been paranoid since the day I found out I was pregant, its starting to get to me, becoming tiring and I am so worried that the baby could feel this.
Last night I ended up in tears, tried talking to hubbie about all the weird aches and pains and my bump not showing yet, he flipped.
Hubbie told me to stop being so negative, that all I do is search the internet for negative things, with every ache or pain I run to look it up and self diagnose, he cannot understand why I am not looking up positive things like the joy after the birth and the positive experiences of having a baby.
So this morning I woke up and I am terrified!!!! Had a dream that I had this perfect baby girl and that she died with birth, dreamt about the funeral too!
How much should one see in a dream? I am hoping that this was only my sub conscience working on me and not some kind of warning to prepare myself.
Ps, I also look for any signs of m.c everytime I go to the toilet.
Anyone 17 weeks or further along and havent felt baby move yet?
All the best to all of you!

Hey i didnt feel the baby proporly until 22-23 weeks....it varies for each person...
And from then on it doesnt stop i am 35+2 now and its very painful when it moves!!

With my first I didn't feel any movement until about 20-21 weeks, so this is fine. I felt my second a bit earlier but that's only because you know what it feels like. I think eveyone worries, I know I did, and it's difficlt for blokes to understand because it's not their bodies going through it.
Don't worry about bump either. I had major paranoia about that. Barely had anything, and couldn't really tell I was pregnant until I was about 7-8 months gone. Midwife said it was normal and that it was good I wasn't putting on too much weight. Hey at least if you don't grow too much, you won't get stretch marks!
I'm sure you'll be fine though, it's just 40 weeks seems like a long time!!

Hi girls,
I have recently found out that my IVF treatment has worked!! I am 5 weeks pregnant and totally paranoid that someone up there is going to burst my happy pregnancy bubble that I have placed myself in. I dont feel sick yet and have belly aches at night. I dont feel that different, and wondered whether that was normal. My boobs are bigger and really sore but other than that, nothing. I really want this baby to hold on with all its might as I have been dreaming of the day that I will finally be a mummy.
scared and just a little bit lonely.
Yeliz xxxxx

hey yelizjc
congratulations on the pregnancy!
dont worry about the feeling sick. i was about 4 weeks when i found out i was expecting and i didnt feel sick til about week 7 or 8. i was quite lucky in that i was not sick a great deal, just felt really nauseous all the time. i didnt feel different really and on a good day now, i still dont. i ahve put on a bit of weight, am tired and have sore boobs, but other than that, nothing major. lots of stomach pains in the very early weeks, but it was nothing to worry about, just my womb growing to accomodate peanut!
keep us updated! kelly xx
