Hi ladies, i am 5 weeks and most of the signs i had of being pregnant have vanished, i no longer feel nauseous, my boobs feel only slightly tender thats only when i accidently lie on them, still have a few headaches, and the crampiness is only very occasional. Is this normal, and if the fetus gets re-absorbed does your period come naturally or does it come on the next time you are due on? Sorry for rambling a bit

i got told and read in my book that you can have really bad days of symtoms but they are nearly always followed by a good day. dont worry bout it. my breasts stopped hurting when i was bout 6wks and my morning sickness started. i had a really bad week of not moving out of bed and couldnt eat. a week or so later it eased off and i wasnt as bad. i still get headaches now but they come and go. dont worry bout it just enjoy the good days! good luck with your pregnancy. stacey n 16+5wk baby bump. x x x

Exactly the same happened to me on Saturday. I have two children and never felt sick with them, so when my nausea disappeared, I took it upon myself to think the very worst and throw in a few right sided pains aswel. I rang a midwife, who said the symptoms can come and go. Sure enough, they returned 24 hours later, accompanied with sore boobs, which had been another worry, because they hadn't been sore yet and they flippin nacked straight away with the first two. I was never this paranoid before, but I didn't have access to the internet then! Pheeew! I feel better for rambling a reply!

Hi, women have all different pregnancy symptoms so firstly, dont panic. Just because the symptoms ease off it doenst mean anything terrible has happened. The only time you need to be concerned is if you start getting pain and/or bleeding (thats real bleeding, not spotting or discolouration).
Unfortunately I have had 2 miscarriages, the last one being 2 weeks ago. When you miscarry your body usually expells it on it's own quite soon. Some women have a missed miscarriage, whereby it is detected on a scan that the pregnancy has ended. Either way your body will need to flush the lost pregnancy away before you get a real period, this can take anywhere from 4 weeks onwards.
However, please dont jump to conclusions based upon your symptoms lightening up. Lots of people dont get any at all.
I'm sure everythings fine, good luck.
