over the last 3 years i have had 4 early miscarriages, all between 5 and 8 weeks. i really didn;'t think i'd ever have a baby. But 4 weeks ago i gave birth to my lovely baby son. Please don't let it stop u trying, i know its horrible, but its just one of those things. If it was to happen again, then doctors will look into why its happening. Good luck, and it will happen for you. Just remember, that whatever the reason for your miscarriage, its not your fault x

Whole thread for the following message:
| Thread started by: | "Another miscarriage - can anyone give me some hope??" Posted by sharonmanchester 29 July at 17:18
I am 38 and trying for our fist baby. I had an early miscarriage 2 months ago. I was just so ecstatic when I found out last week that I'm pregnant again. Except I couldn't stop worrying and checking for bleeding in case it happened again. Unfortunately it has just happenned again at six weeks. I feel so guilty, sad and hopeless at this whole pregnancy thing. Has anybody else had 2 early miscarriages and gone on to have a successful pregnancy? If so, please let me know and reassure me that there is hope for me to bring a much wanted baby into the world. Thanks so much.

Hi Sharon
I really feel for you and really hope that you start to feel better soon.
There is hope as my sister had three miscarriages before she had her little girl (nearly 3) and two of them were missed miscarriages that she didn't find out about until her first scan at 12 weeks. The other was at 11 weeks, just before she was due to go for her first scan. She was heartbroken.
Then she suffered another miscarriage in November last year and then went on to have a little boy (nearly 4 months old).
It goes to show that full-term normal pregnancies can happen even after such horrid circumstances.
The very best of luck to you. When it happens, you will make a great mum.
Take good care
Dawn x

Hi I know just what you are going through. When i first started to try for a baby approx 4 and half years ago I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks.I got pregnant again after 6 months but lost that baby too at just 6 weeks.I was completely devastated but was told it is quite common to have 2 miscarriages. I was advised to wait at least 6 months before trying again so that my body can adjust itself.I got pregnant 8 months later and havea beautiful baby boy who is now 3 and a half.Throughout my third pregnancy I was very worried and took it especially careful and had a lot of bedrest for the first trimester.
Please remain positive.Good luck to you.
Regards
Ajy

Hey
Im so sorry to hear about your miscarriage...but there is hope! I've not personally had a miscarriage but my aunty (who is 39)has had 4 miscarriages over 18 months and she too thought there was no hope. However, she is now 26 weeks pregnant! Hope this offers you some hope.
Don't blame yourself for the miscarriage, worrying throughout pregnancy is completely normal emotion. It will happen for you soon
xx
