Hey all,
My head is spinning right now, had consultant this morning and she had a feel and said it felt like a big baby which i was aware of. SO they did a growth scan and oh yes my bump is ALL baby hardly any fluid and its already 6lb6oz i have 5 weeks of growth left until my due date.
I am really really worried about getting it out, i am only 5'1 (if i am lucky) and i just dont see it happening. They said they would monitor me during labour and make decisions because where i am booked in it is not consultant led so any intervention and i would have to be shipped off!
To make it worse the doc and midwife this morning didnt seem phazed by everything, and on the chart i am 3mm away from the bump being abnormally big for the weeks - they havent even asked me to make another appointment for a check with them.
Am i faffing about nothing?
Has anyone else been in this position before with the growth?
HELP! lol

hi!
I had a growth scan at 32 + 6 weeks because they thought my baby was too small cos i only have a small bump and boy were they wrong!! At my scan baby weighed 5lb 4oz! apparently i just hide it well lol! I was concerned at the time cos obviously then i had another 7+ weeks of growth!
Consultant didnt seem to bothered though and said that alot of babies have growth spurts and then wont grow much for a few weeks...so you could be in that position. If you're really concerned you should make another appt with consult to discuss issues cos u dont wanna be goin into the labour worryin like mad how your guna get baby out! You never know-baby might be further along for dates than everyone thought and may be making an appearance sooner!! x x
