I decided to go off birth control last month as my husband and I have been talking about having a baby. We weren't really "trying" but we weren't not trying.. if that makes any sense.

Anyway, I took a test first day of my missed period and it came out negative. There have been a few things that could be sypmtoms such as tender breasts, fatigue, food cravings, etc. So when I was 4 days late I took another test, still negative. Then a few days ago I started cramping, I figured it was my period and that I wasn't pregnant. However it has been about three days of minor cramping (which I have now learned is normal durring early pregnancy) and no period and the other "symptoms" seem to be progressing. I am also now a 1 1/2 weeks late.

I don't know, maybe I'm just overthinking it all. I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten a false test result and been pregnant like this. Thanks.

crampings are indeed commun in the beginning of pregnancy. I have experienced them as well but at this stage my test was as well positive.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that you have just stop your birth control last mounth. I would seek advice with my GP.

We have decided that if I don't get my period by Monday I'm going to make an appointment. I have been on and off birth control several times and for the most part my cycles are normal, however there have been times when I was late. I guess my main concern is that it's now been over a week of on and off cramping and still no period and I'm nearly two weeks late. The symptoms also seem to be progressing. I have heard of the at home pregnancy test not always being accurate with some women too. Ah I don't know what to think anymore. I guess I just gotta be patient and see what happenes.
