"A heartbeat"
Posted by alleycat2 16 August  at  17:01

I know how you feel. I had problems during ym 1st pregnancy so the second one that heartbeat meant i knew everything was alright. People told be I should be able to hear it at 8 weeks or after but if I went past 13 an didn't hear it, that was not good. I finally heard it when my baby was about 10 weeks and that was rare to hear it that early the Doctor said. So, everyone says something different so don't freak out if you don't hear it until 10 weeks or after. It didn't sound like I thought it would. It was almost like the sound you hear when you put a sea shell up to your ear. Sort of like wind.

Whole thread for the following message:

I know i am only 8 weeks, but i am dying to hear the little one's heartbeat, when can it be heard via an external doppler? I was thinking of geting one later on, so the other half can listen as well.
