Hi there
Just wondered if it is usual to be so tetchy and teary at this stage of pregnancy? This is my third pregnancy but I had two premature babies before born at 29 weeks and 33 weeks gestation. Although overjoyed that this time I have gone "to term" I have been "on alert" since 27 weeks when I went into hospital fearing another premature birth and again at 30 weeks and for the last month have been having "false labour" symptoms at least 3 times a week. I am trying to balance joy at going full term with feelings of emotional exhaustion at being on permanent alert for so long and also the physical tiredness (I have two lively boys to look after) that goes with this stage of pregnancy which again is new.

I suppose I just wonder if I any of these feelings are normal? Or anyone can suggest ways to tackle these feelings?

hey hun just thought i would give you a hug (((hugs))) i dont really know what to say but it sounds like you have had quite alot on your shoulder for the past 10 weeks. Your baby is now fully developed at 38 weeks.

I am 37 weeks on friday and i cant wait because baby is fully developed.

Just try and relax i know its hard with 2 lively boys, have you got any family who can have them for an afternoon and you can pamper yourself i know a bit hard feeling like an elephant! even if you just put your feet up and wacth a good dvd??

I am feeling very emotional also but more anxious because i am a first timer and dont know what to expect in labour!!

I hope you feel better soon.
