Hi Ladies.

I dont know if what I doing is wrong, I could really use some advise on this.

I am in my fourth month of Pregnancy and havnt yet been to the Gynae. Ive been to see my doctor and she gave me multi-vitamins and iron supplements.

The thing is I work monday to friday and I dont get the chance to get away for my appointments let alone make one. I was suppose to have went for my first scan already but it hasnt happend.

What I need to know is , is there any danger in not seeing a gynae. What should I be doing now that I am in my fourth month???

Please help me out with this one ladies

Hello

I was just a little concerned about your message becasue you said you don't even get time to make appointments let alone go to them?

Your work have to allow yout his time, theyhave no choice and you have to commit to this time.
It's what's best for yourself and your baby. Your baby should be the main priority and you must put work to the side for the time being.

I work long hours and I work shifts and my career is important to me, as well as being extremely busy (public sector) but my growing bean is most important and takes priority over EVERYTHING!!!

Lots of things need to be checked by now and you don't even know if you're having one, you may have two in there!!!!

Please get your app's booked

hi layla, i agree, you really could do with going to the midwife and getting a scan. you are entitled by law to time off work for your appointments, i know its not easy, my employers were always funny with me at the beginning about taking time off but its an important time for you and you need to look after yourself and your baby. good luck with everything xxx

I would really recommend getting that scan if possible, that way, any problems can be detected if there was any. I'm sure your baby will be fine but you need to see that for yourself and put your mind at ease. The purpose of the scan is to make sure your baby's positioned correctly and is growing as it should be. So please get that appointment, it's the best thing in pregnancy when you can see your baby moving around and it's little heartbeat pumping away! you will also be able to find out the sex too if you want! please make that appointment, stuff work, this is more important! good luck! x
