"Anyone else 6 weeks pregnant and feeling fine?"
Posted by knoxo 23 August  at  21:29

Hello,

I am 6 weeks pregnant (1st time) and apart from sore boobs, I feel absolutley fine. I haven't felt particularly tired and there's definately been no sign of morning sickness. I am sure some of you out there are thinking lucky cow make the most of it; however I can't help thinking something might be wrong.

Is anyone else who is due in April and feeling pretty good?

A concerned mummy to be!

Sarah

"No symptoms.........."

Hi Sarah,

I am 6 weeks too and I have no symptoms at all apart from slightly sore boobs. I have also been worrying a little that I should be feeling a little different by now.

Maybe we are just lucky?

Am 6 weeks pregnant yesterday and felt absolutely fine up until the end of my 5th week when i started feeling sick and the tiredness hit me all of a sudden. I'm due end of April. I've taken to having naps in the afternoon/evening just to have energy to sort my son out for his tea, bath etc etc. My hubby is brilliant though and helping loads. I've got my sister staying for two weeks but we've decided not to tell anyone till after the first scan( which is not easy for me at all!)and am sure she thinks i've had a tummy bug for to long, lol

If anyone has any tips to stop morning sickness i'd be grateful as all i've found helps is eating! lol

I am also 6 weeks and it's my first pregnancy. I have sore boobs, but no morning sickness or anything...I also think in the back of mind that something may be wrong, but I try to remember that a lot women don't find out they are pregnant until much later and have no major signs to tell them otherwise. I think we are fine!!!

"Yes! 6 weeks and very mild symptoms..."
Posted by tricialynn9802 21 August  at  05:08

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for posting. I feel pretty normal aside from sore boobs, mild occasional cramps, and very mild nausea - which may just be from vitamins. My mom said she had very little symptoms while she was pregnant, which helps a little, but I am so nervous about something being wrong. My hubby keeps telling me to relax, but as crazy as it sounds, I think I'd be happier with some symptoms! (Grass is always greener huh!) I am 6-7 weeks, due in April. I got so preoccupied with it today that I went and bought another pregnancy test (my husband now officially thinks I'm nuts) - it showed pregnant, with a fast and dark line - made me feel mildly better... I don't think I'll relax until I see the first heartbeat, which from talking to others this worry is normal. I'm sure you are just fine - there are abnormalities like us out there! Good luck! Tricia

I'm concerned as well. I'm 6 weeks pregnant with my first and I don't feel anythiny or have any symptoms. I read however, that it is completely normal not to experience any morning sickness or symptoms and in fact, 25% of people don't. I hope all is well and congradulations!

"Due april 7th"

Good afternoon Sarah,

I am also in my sixth week (1st time). I have been experiencing some additional first trimester symptoms. Sore boobs, some mild cramping (though that has been lessening each day) and around the clock fatigue. Besides that I feel wonderful. I'm not very athletic, but have begun walking a couple of miles a day in hopes that it will increase my energy level. We are both lucky about the absence of morning sickness, I don't believe that this should raise any concerns in your mind. Have you had your first ultrasound? My husband and I went this past Tuesday and actually saw and heard the babies heart beating. It was mind-blowing. What is your due date?
I wish you all the best. Feel free to contact me anytime.

"Me too"
Posted by natwest 14 August  at  10:17

Hi Sarah,

Im exactly the same no signs at all apart from my chest. The doctors didnt even do a test whilst i was there to confirm, just gave me a due date and booked me for midwife in 4 weeks. Now im panicing incase i get there and they find nothing.

Isnt it frustrating reading everyones sickness and mood swings when we arnt getting anything.

Hope it all works out 4 u and congrats on the baby......

"Feeling fine too"

Hi Sarah, I am 5+5 wks and feel absoletely fine too! My boobs aren't even that sore, just bigger! I had a m/c earlier this year and I'm very anxious wanting to feel sick, but lots of people don't feel sick at all and it still is very early, so try not to worry, you're not the only one out there! My friend is currently 20 wks with twins and she didn't have any nausea till 6.5wks and then only a bit until she had some breakfast and twins are supposed to be worse!

Take each day as it comes and think yourself lucky. Make sure you see you GP asap and ask if you can have an earlier scan if you're concerned.

Hi Sarah, I found out on 7th august i was pregnant too and approx 6 weeks. I only did a test due to meant 2 be going out Saturday night and my husband and best mate said to do one, and i nearly died of shock when it was positive as i felt fine and i also had a miscarriage 7 weeks ago so it was a real shock but we are over the moon! I have worked out that i will be due approx beginning of April but at the midwifes in September, so don't worry your not the only one. I have no signs at all.
