They say you can hear the baby's heartbeat at the 6 week ultrasound, however I went today and I didn't see anything, the possible sac if that. Is that possible? Should I be worried?

You can't hear the heartbeat until 10 weeks and sometimes it takes longer. But if you have an ultrasound done you should see the heart beating. So don't worry. My doctor didn't do an ultrasound until i was 12 weeks.

You will not be able to hear the baby's heartbeat until about 10 weeks, and even then you won't always be able to. When I went for my first appt. I was 10 weeks and we couldn't hear the heartbeat either. The next day I had an ultrasound and saw that everything was ok. I wasn't able to hear the heartbeat until I was 14 weeks. Have you had an ultrasound since then?
