Hiya, I had my baby 9 weeks ago. I started taking rasberry leaf tea and the capsules and within 24 hours I started with contractions. They started at 12pm 5 minutes apart. I decided to go to the hospital at 5pm and my baby arrived at 8.55pm. I was 5cm dilated when I got there! I only had gas and air too and it was my first baby. My little bundle arrived 6 days early. You cant overdose on rasberry as its natural. Try having lavendar oil in your bath and put a bit on a tissue and keep smelling it. It helps you to relax. I tryed everything bar sex and curry. Everyhting else gave me an upset stomach.

Good luck

Christine xx

Good luck

Hi Kav,

Thanks for your get well wishes!

Because of my hospital stay my raspberry leaf tea plan has been messed up.

Planned to have 1 cup everyday for wk 36
2 cups everyday for wk 37
3 cups everyday for wk 38
and then 4 cups a day until birth!

I'm going to up mine to 4 cups a day at the weekendwhen i'll be 39 weeks.

First made mine in a mug and it was awful, my advice is to make it in a cup or half a mug with a tiny bit of sugar.....it's more bearable!

Good luck xx

Hi Kavvy,

I am taking Raspberry Leaf Tablets. It says on the back of them to take one capsule three to six times a day.

Not sure if that helps as I know your taking the tea, but may help as a guideline....

I have been taking them for about 2 weeks on and off when I remember!

Cheers girls,

Am hoping for a quickie! Also soon after I start my maternity leave, as am not sure how much I can do at home so would rather have my little boy to look after as much as possible.

Am getting so excited now - really can't wait to meet him!!!
