Hiya, just wondering if anyone else has got bad spots since they've been pregnant? At first I put it down to coming off the pill [i'd been on it for 15 yrs for medical reasons] but I've actually recently found out that I'm pregnant. The spots are very sore and are particularly bad on my chin and in my hairline. I have spoken to my doctor but he didn't think they were too bad and my husband bless him says he can hardly notice them [we've only been married a few months!] but i feel like a teenager rather than a blooming mother to be. still, I probably shouldn't complain as no morning sickness or anything as yet.

I'm 15+1 and woke up one morning in week 11 with loads of spots. They are still there now. I got pregnant straight after coming off the combined pill so hadn't had spots for years (well only the odd 1 or 2). It feels like I have gone back 15 years as I have spots on my forehead, chest and back, just like when I was a teenager.
I've just been treating them with tea tree oil, there's not much else I can do.
Everyone says I should be blooming now but I just feel fat and spotty - not attractive!
Fingers crossed it is just a phase and will pass soon

Hi there, i am 10+2 weeks, and my chin and hair line (and the backs of my shoulders and a bit down my back) look like i have just hit puberty (im 27!) coupled with the vile morning sickness, a feel a wreck, plus my hair has turned really greasy as well (sob) my hubby has a field day going "oh there is a big spot there, and there and there!" he begs me to let him pop them, but i get him to put witch hazel on them and they dry up. Good luck the rest of you lovely mums Karenxxx

nice to know it's not just me! I don't mind so much how they look [altho it's not great at 35 to be breaking out in acne!] but the fact they are so painful. i've bought some gel to dry them out so hopefully that will help. my hair is really greasy too, my husband treated me to a haircut on my birthday last week to cheer me up which was lovely while it lasted. still i have to be grateful that i am avoiding the dreaded morning sickness so far... good luck to you too x

Hi there, I too am 7 weeks and am full of spots! Nothing works for them. Unfortunately I also have terrible morning sickness which is a nightmare. I hope you continue as you are and dont get it as it is a nightmare and really takes the excitement of pregnancy away
Im told the spots tend to get better at about 12-14 weeks, so until then its loads of concealer! Good luck

Hi,
I found out i was pregnant at 6 weeks, and noticed quite a few little pimples on my forehead and chin, they cleared up but now i have them back (i am now 9 weeks). Its just your hormones....although it doesn't make you feel nice. My hubby is the same, saying 'oh you can't really notice them'! but normally i have very clear skin so he's just trying to be nice!!
You're lucky to not have any sickness yet, i'm suffering a bit, so hopefully you won't experiebce that!
Good luck
