I have never suffered with a bad complexion until i became pregnant. Luckily i am now 33 weeks and i have found that they died down after about 26 weeks!! I know its not much comfort!!
I still get the odd break out from time to time but no where near as bad!! My advice is not to try any of the shop remedies, just use water and wash your face every morning and every night, i cleanse, tone and moisturise and i even slowed these down not to make it worse

don't worry, u r not alone. i've had terrible skin since i found i was pregnant. fortunately i'm having abit of a break from work as i got married recently and we've decided to move house so i'm busy organising that so i only have to cover them up when we go out. they are really bad on my chin and just seem to breed, as one starts to heal up another 3 appear in its place! they are really sore too. had them in my hairline and ears too! i mentioned them to the doctor but he said not to worry as they didn't look too bad! i'm hoping that they will ease off after the 1st trimester as my body adjusts to the new arrival! i am looking forward to the part where we feel healthy and glowing! i haven't found any miracle cures but witchazel or spot gel helps dry them out. not my sexiest look when i go to bed but needs must! mind u, i shouldn't moan too much as touch wood i've had no morning sickness so far. take care, Trudi xx

Hi,
I am just over 10 weeks now and have more spots now than i have ever had! I have just been to Greece thinking the sun would make them better but i have come back worse. I've done the same as you...drink more water, cleanse etc, but it doesn't work. How many weeks are you? I started to have a few pimples on my forehead from week 6, then by week 7 i was ok to week 9. It just comes and goes. My mum keeps on telling me that its just the hormones, but when i have always had really clear skin it can be a bit depressing!!
I'm trying to eat more veggies and fruit and so hopefully that would help a little! Good luck xxxx

I'm 30 and had terrible acne in my teens (well actually for almost a decade). Skin was fine on the pill, but since I became pregnant they have reappeared. I've got a few painful ones on my forehead, but the worst ones are on my chest and back - just like when I was a teenager. I feel really self-conscious about them.
I'm now 16+5 and there is still no sign of them going Cleansing doesn't make any difference either. Pregnancy sucks sometimes, I still don't feel like I'm glowing yet...
