has anyone had a 4d scan? how much it cost them? was it worth it? did you get a dvd video of the scan or pictures?

Hi Hun i have booked to get a 4D scan done on the 27th Sept.
We are having it done at a place near where we live in lierpool called 'Before the stork' (www.beforethestork.co.uk)
They offer many different packages where you can get DVD's, photos, keyrings, etc.
Take a look at the website it may give you an idea of what prices you are looking at.

I've watched my friends 4d scan dvd & although I was adamant i'd get it done the idea has actually left me.
I watched another one and both babies looked the same? every pic I see(I became obsessed!) they look the same, they have funny shapes and when they move it blends, so if the face moves the nose looks huge cos it's a continuation of the movement.
I started to really not like them any more! I've just read in the Pregnancy&birth mag that studies have not been completed in relation to 4d scans & it is to early to say if it has any effect on the baby. Even the hospital scans are not the best & are only for medical reasons.

Anyway my mates was £170 for a package of 2x large pics 1xkey ring 3xsmall pics and dvd which was about 15-20 mins.
