"Should i do a test?"

Hi. I am 8 days late for my period and have been feeling a bit sick the last couple of days. Should I do a pregnancy test? I have been taking micronor mini pill for the last two months and it says that your periods may become irregular but if you are more that 45 days since the first day of your last period to take a test. I am 36 days since my last period but as I have been feeling sick do you think I should take one anyway? I am really worried as I am only 22 and only been with my partner for 3 months. I would really appreciate your advice.

Jem

Hi I am 22 and have been with my fiance for 5 years. I have missed my period and now i keep being sick when i smell certain foods or cigarette smoke, i am a smoker, but obviously i have stopped this now. I have been going to the toilet alot more and i have been really tired. I don't want to take a test though, because this will probably confirm my fears. My partner, although he is very loving, is not ready for children, he is 21, but in a brilliant job as a policeman. I AM going to do a test though, as this is the best thing for you and your possible baby. goodluck, and i hope the result is what you want. If mine comes back positive, no doubt i will be on here getting advice as it will be my first.
