Hi Karen,
I asked my midwife about this at my booking appt (am 18+3 now) and she advised me to email the antenatal department of the hospital requesting the classes. I did that and am all booked in for them. Not only for antenatal but also for a backcare class which is next week, a breastfeeding class and also for a tour of the delivery suite which is nearer the time.
Hope this helps.

I see, think i shall ask the dr at my 15 weeks appt, perhaps he can give me the paper work for it. lets just say the maternity unit at my local hosp (derriford in plymouth) were not exactly what you call helpful when i rang them about an early scan i had to have one!!! Thanks again
