Hey everyone,
Im 9weeks + 2days today and i cant help but worry after i suffered a miscarriage in Feb this year at 6weeks.
I had an early scan last thursday which showed the little healthy bean with a heartbeat which eased my mind but recently ive had a couple of dreams about me miscarrying again.
Its also my 25th birthday this saturday and im going for a meal with 20 friends and family members so this week ive slowly started telling the people who will be at the meal about me being pregnant because EVERYONE will question why im not drinking, but i think this is also adding to my worry incase anything goes wrong.
I had the early scan last week due to the odd bit of spotting (which has all cleared up now). The lady also said the scan showed no reservoir of bleeding inside me so should now be ok, and becasue i wanted to make sure everything was ok before i started telling people this week.
Does the risk of anything going wrong lower once youve had a scan after 8 weeks and see the heartbeat?
Ive also been feeling very sick since 5 weeks on and off all day & my appetite went completely but as from this week i dont seem to be feeling as bad but im still getting it. This is also making me worry now!
Any advise would be appreciated. Thankyou x x x

hi chicky, i think you need to try to relax a little about it now and try to enjoy it. i know its easier said than done, i had a misscarriage last year at 13 weeks but i had never seen the heartbeat and it hadn't grown properly. im now almost 30 weeks and have had ups and downs through this pregnancy, you'll never stop worrying but too much worrying isnt good for you or babes! tell your friends about your pregnancy but just explain that your taking one day at a time and dont really want to get too excited yet, thats what i did cos everyone was guessing anyway, at the end of the day if the worst happpens you need your friends for support anyway...but nothing bad will happen, last time was a trial run for your body and now it knows exactly what its doing to make your perfect lil baby! so keep smiling and be happy and enjoy your birthday xxx

hi there i had two misscarriages last year, and both times at an early scan there was no heart beat, apparantley theres a much higher chance of everything being ok once you have seen the heartbeat so thats good news!!and so you know im now 35 n half weeks and everythings fine! i actually think its best to tell people any way, because,at least you then have some support.... its hard to stay positive after a misscariage but i'll try for you, i hope you have a fab birthday and that your worries are soon eased.. take care all the best x
