"Hi, i had these" Posted by smiley071 1 October at 23:03
Hi, I had these when I was pregnant, and the doctor said it was just my body geting ready for birth, When I was pregnant I was seventeen with quadruplets--yes quadruplets! I am turning 18 in February. My baby's are almost 3 months old, they were born on July 16th. They were VERY PAINFUL for me, and sometimes I had to stop what I was doing becuase I am a small person, I am 17 and was carrying 4, but the doctor said it was just my body getting ready.
Keep us updated if it's anything more, and when your baby is born I would like to know the name/gender ect!

"Quite common???" Posted by melboo 30 September at 23:30
I also get these. I put it down to hormones, we produce more of the hormones relaxin. That, and the baby sitting on specific nerves. I had these with my first pregnancy and again, now - with the second. They can be extremely painful and stop you in your tracks. Let me know if it's something more.

I would like to know too, I'm having the same problem, but I'm only 10 weeks with first baby. It is very scary.

"Pains too" Posted by shortstack71 23 October at 19:59
Hi, I am 13 weeks and have had cramping on and off since 6 weeks, although now I have a sharp pain in my groin which I think might be a water or yeast infection (so I am off to see my GP this week). I was worried about the cramps but now just call these my growing pains and that this is my body making up for the lack of sickness I am not experiencing! They say these are nothing to worry about but if you notice spotting or bleeding go to your GP or A&E immediately. A water bottle works wonders (but not too hot)!
