I'm due 18th but as having a section anticipate actual date will be week before.

Morning sickness or evening sickness as I know it is a pain, I stuff myself at lunchtime and then forget tea.

Have seen midwife twice, gave me loads of info and today had physio as have a hip problem, scan on Friday, can't wait to see my little one and make sure there is only one in there.

Tired yes, just take it easy, easier said than done, apparently we will bloom soon!!

Whole thread for the following message:

Hi, I'm due on April 9th and had my first scan a few weeks ago - very exciting. Hope the morning sickness eases soon, I was lucky (in a way) it started wk 5 and lasted till wk 10 - i was very sick (working was a nightmare as was being sick constantly) - luckily though it has now worn off. Tiredness too was a pretty bad in the first 12 weeks - again i'm feeling more like my old self now so don't worry you will start feeling better very soon.

hope all ok
xx

Hi,

I am due around the 11th April (but found out we are having ID twins so probably before then!).

So pleased that the 3 month mark has now passed, but still really suffering from sickness and tiredness. The 12 week scan was fantastic so looking forward to my next one in around 4 weeks.

Good luck to all!

Hi Newbie16

I'm due around 20th April. Started off great but in weeks 7 and 8 was very queasy/nauseous which lasted all day as well. Been having the odd queasy day and headaches since. Had migrane on Thursday evening and on into Friday, pain was unbearable so rang the doctor who said it would be ok to take paracetmol (with caution) so I did. Friday was definately my worst day, threw up in the morning for the first time and felt very sick the whole day.

Have been very tired in the evenings as well - would usually have a sleep in the evenings after work. Found I wasn't so tired last week though.

Since I got pregnant I waken couple of times during the night to go to the bathroom and I'm now a light sleeper. I used to be a very heavy sleeper and would never waken until morning. Oh the joys, the joys...

Sorry for such a long message, yes it's great to get to this stage, finally. We had our first meeting with the midwife last wednesday so after hearing the heartbeat and feeling reassured that things were going ok we have now told our family and friends our news.

Did you have a scan? I won't be having mine until week 16-18.

Take care

Anna

Hey Newbie16

I'm due on the 21st of April. My morning sickness started at 5 weeks exactly & has been 'better' since 9/10 weeks!
I had a scan at 7 weeks and everything was fine, so I'm hoping that it'll all still be fine when I have my 12 week scan next Monday.

I'm exactly like Anna - used to be able to sleep through anything but the smallest sound wakes me up now, wouldn't give it up for the world though!

Hope your morning sickness gets better soon

Hey, im also due on the 21st April!!! Got my twelve week scan next wednesday, cant wait! I also had a scan at 8 weeks and everything was fine, saw the little one's heart beat beating away so im also hoping everything will be ok next week.

I had really bad sickness on and off all day from 5 weeks but the last couple of weeks i seem to be alot better. Still get it but no way near as much which im very thankful for!!

The annoying thing now is that i seem to be waking up every few hours in the night to make a toilet trip (i dont seem to be as bad during the day though - typical!!) and any slight noise also wakes me up, especially my boyfriend snoring!!!
