Hi everyone,
I just wanted to write and say what I am feeling to see if anyone has experienced the same. I am just over 8 weeks pregnant, had an early scan at 6 weeks to check everyone ok which it was luckily and we saw a heartbeat. This was a relief because I had a missed miscarriage in may of this year. Two days ago I experienced a sudden sharp pain deep inside my lower abdomen. It only lasted a second and was gone as soon as they came. It happened about 7 or 8 times throughout the day getting progressivley worse, then as quickly as it started it disappeared again. Two days on and I seem to have lost my pregnancy symptoms completely. I had sore boobs, nausea and fatigue but I am feeling completely normal which I find worrying. My Doctor has been great and has brought forward my scan to next Monday but feel I should prepare myself for more bad news. I have had no blood, spotting or brownish discharge at all.
Thanks guys, any advice greatly received.

I am just out of hospital with having sharpe pains, have had them for over a week, I am 7ish weeks pregnant and they did a scan last wednesday night and we got a heartbeat. The pain worsened yesterday and the only nice doc at my pratice put me into hospital for anpendixs (sorry not sure if right spelling). Got there and they did checks and phoned the people i seen last week, they came and did their checks again. Both said they cant find a reason, i never got a scan as they were happy with a healthy scan last week. I was also told that they get alot of pregnant women come in and cant find out the reason for the pain and that not to worry as we got a good result last week with a scan. Dont prepare yourself for bad news and the no blood ect is a good sign. Take Care and let us know how you get on, Lisa

I wouldn't panic just yet - I dont know much about this but I have heard that it is best not to worry unless there is bleeding? Imagine all the changes that are happening to your body in this crucial (development) stage - it could be nothing at all...
Good luck with everything I hope all is fine!
